AIDS Day Pledge

NSS Volunteer organized “World AIDS Day Awareness Programme” on 2nd December 2024. On this occasion Mrs. Angha Khairkar delivered a speech about the AIDS Awareness and prevention measures also gave counselling to the students and created awareness among the students. Also, pledge was taken by the faculty members and students of various departments. All the students were participated in the above awareness programme.

Constitution Day

Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October annually to mark the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, popularly called Mahatma Gandhi and regarded as the Father of the Nation. According to the principal, nowadays it is very important to uplift the values and ideas of Gandhi among all the students as well as teachers. At the very beginning of the program renowned researcher of Gandhian philosophy, On this occasion our chief guest Mr.Brijesh Kumar sir (feedback foundation nagar panchayat Hingna) delivered a 30-minute speech on the relevance of Gandhi in the present-day world. The program was ended with the song “Vande Mataram”.

Independence Day

Aakar Institute of Management & Research Studies,Nagpur celebrated “Independence Day” at our Hingna Campus with very much Zeal and enthusiasm. The ceremony took place in the presence of our chief guests, faculty & staff members only. Flag hoisting program was followed by the patriotic songs and speeches of students. Chief Guest of the program Mrs. Rucha Patil delivered speech about the importance of this day. The program was concluded with vote of thanks.

Mahaparinirwan Diwas

College had organized Mahaparinirwan Diwas program on dated 06/12/2024.The Mahaparinirwan Diwas program comprised of activities like speeches,thoughts. Prof. Swati P. Doye, guided the students regarding the curriculum and gave good wishes for their academic year motivated students by asking them to set the goal of their life & work hard to achieve that goal. The term ‘Parinirvan’ has a deep meaning in Buddhist traditions and refers to someone who has attained nirvana in his lifetime and after death. December 6 is observed to commemorate his unfathomable contribution to society and his achievements.

NSS Day program comprised of interesting activities like motivational speeches, Prof. Roshani Kakade Guided the students regarding the curriculum and gave good wishes for their academic year motivated students by asking them to set the goal of their life & work hard to achieve that goal. NSS volunteers generally work in villages, slums and voluntary agencies to complete 120 hours of regular activities during an academic year. As per the fundamental principles of the National Service Scheme, a volunteer is expected to remain in constant touch with the community.

Swachhata Hi Seva

All the students & staff took Swachhata pledge on the occasion of Swachhata Hi Seva under NSS Cell to create awareness and commitment for a clean and garbage-free India. The chief guest of this program was Dr. Pranjal S. Bogawar (Incharge Principal, ACMW) aware the students about cleanliness for betterment of the human beings and the environment. The commitment to the campaign goals and the intent to make the campaign wider and deeper were emphasized by taking pledge.

Republic Day

The 75th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervor at Aakar College of Management premises amidst the morning of 26th Jan 2024 .The ceremony took place in the presence of Hon. President of Aakar Bahuuddeshiya Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Mr. Gajanan Gampawar was present as a president for the flag hoisting program. Flag hoisting program was followed by the patriotic songs and speeches of students. All the staff were present for the function.

River Clean Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Students under “Swachhata Hi Seva ” campaign enthusiastically participated in the River Cleaning Drive at Vena River, Ganesh Tekadi in Hingna, Nagpur. The collected trash was sorted in two different bins; one for biodegradable and one for non-biodegradable waste. The programme concluded with all participants taking an oath to protect the environment.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

NSS unit of Aakar Institute of Management & Research studies organized “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” on 31 August 2024. The events involved in this Abhiyan were as follows: 1. Pledge Ceremony 2.Campus Cleanliness Drive 3. Awareness Rally 4. Village Cleanliness Drive 5. Awareness Campaign NSS Volunteers participated in this event. The programme Co-ordinator namely Prof. Roshani K.Kakade and Prof. Shivani N.Zanjal conducted this Abhiyan… Students motivated villagers to maintain hygiene and to clean their surroundings. NSS students went to each and every house of the Hingna Village and made the people aware about cleanliness and hygiene.

Women’s Day

NSS unit has celebrated “International Women’s Day” in Seminar hall, at college campus on 10th March 2025. The program was graced with blessings of Goddess Saraswati with lighting of the lamp and recitation of the Sarasvati Vandana. Chief Guest of the program was Ms. Diksha Tajne, Police Sub-Inspector, Mrs. Lata Gautam, Nagaradhyksh Hingna, Mrs. Dipali Pund, Nagarsevika Hingna, Dr. Pranjal S. Bogawar, Principal ACMW, Mrs. Angha Khairkar, Prinicpal Aakar School of Nursing. Ms. Diksha Tajne , PSI has delivered a talk on womens power, security and freedom, success in all areas. Dr. Pranjal S. Bogawar mam has presented the Women Icons award to the faculties. College Annual Magazine was also inaugurated on this beautiful day. Overall this program was very beautiful and meaningful in a way.

Teacher’s Day Celebration

All the faculties have received an invitation from the students to participate in the Teacher’s Day programme using online platform. They have planned a series of programmers, the senior students despite the limitations have prepared speech and teacher descriptions. In spite of challenges the students have coordinated well and organised an online programme for Teacher’s Day. Junior students and also held poems along with appreciation speech for the teachers. A virtual programme has been arranged by the students. It is a new experience for the students as well as for faculties also. All the Faculties shared their views about the programme and appreciate the students n blessed them for their bright future.

Tree Plantation

Tree Plantation Program under the NSS Cell. chief gTheuest of this program was Prof. Swati P. Doye told the importance of this Van Mahotsav program and award the student about how the tree plantation is so much important toady. She told that every student has to plant sapling on the occasion of Van Mahossav week and also should take care the sapling to save the mother earth.

Voters Day Pledge/Awareness Rally

NSS Volunteers pledged to uphold democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any other inducement. So, we took initiative under National Service Scheme (NSS), we have organized voters awareness rally to create awareness among the villagers. All the students took strong initiative to participate in this event by attending the program and contributing their responsibilities towards the nation.

Yoga Day Celebration

College has celebrated “International Yoga Day”. The theme of this year is "Yoga for self and society". Mr. Chandrakant Varle (Yoga Trainer) led the sessions of Yoga and meditation said that Yoga can make an important contribution in achieving a healthy life and Yoga is invaluable world heritage and legacy of humankind. All faculty and students participated in it and performed Asana to mark the International Yoga Day. On this occasion Mr. Chandrakant Varle encouraged everyone to take care of their health by regularly doing yoga & meditation. The program ended with a joy that is sure to inspire everyone to understand the importance of Yoga.

NSS Activity:-The 72th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Aakar Institute of Management and research studies premises amidst the foggy morning of 26th January 2023. The ceremony took place in the presence of our chief guests, faculty, staff members and students. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Dr.Sachin S. Bogawar. This was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem led by the college’s students, staff & all present there.

Objective: To organize “Reading Day” on the Birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Activity under NSS cell: NSS unit of Aakar Institute of Management & Research Studies organized “Reading Day” on 16th October 2022. Aakar College of Management for Women remembered Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary by celebrating Reading Day and gave tribute to him. Students recalled all the memories of Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and read various books.

Objective Purpose: The NSS is part of our academic, social and personal life as it is the third dimension of education. It allows the students to actively contribute their services for the cause of community and the nation, thus helping them develop their personality. NSS volunteers generally work in villages, slums and voluntary agencies to complete 120 hours of regular activities during an academic year. As per the fundamental principles of the National Service Scheme, a volunteer is expected to remain in constant touch with the community. Hence, it is of vital importance that a particular village/slum is selected for implementation of NSS programmes.

Mahaparinirvan Diwas

Objective: The program was organized to commemorate the death anniversary of Dr. BabasahebAmbedkar. NSS Activity:- Under the NSS cell, NSS volunteers arranged the program,Dr.Pranjal S. Bogawar(Academic Director ), Prof. Swati Doye, Prof.Khurshid Ahmad and all the Staff members and students joined online on google meet for paying tributes to the Bharat Ratna awardee and observed a minute’s silence on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Our speaker, Mrs. Pranjal S. Bogawar paid the tribute to him. She said today will be meaningful only if people follow his ideals and uphold the values and ethics he propounded, in public life. Baba Saheb dedicated his life for social justice and gave a unique gift to the country in the form of constitution. All the students appreciated him & pledged to be responsible for society & country as well.

On this Holy occasion tree plantation program jointly organised with the Yavatmal Urban Co-op. Bank Ltd Yavatmal. The auspicious Program was followed by patriotic songs and speeches of students. All the dignitaries’ guest was present for flag hosting program. Dr. Sachin Bogawar & Mrs.Pranjal Bogavar were present for the program. Staffs of all Branches of Yavatmal Urban Co.op.Bank were present for the program. The Independence Day was celebrated by hoisting the Flag in front of the College Office.
